The Anybus X-gateway series consists of more than 200 different products, aimed at connecting almost any possible combination of industrial networks. The product family offers Master / Scanner functionality for Profibus, DeviceNet, EtherNet / IP and AS-Interface and includes Slave / Adapter functionality for 16 other networks.

Create combinations of fieldbus and Industrial Ethernet networks such as: CANopen, CC-Link, ControlNet, J1939, Lonworks, Interbus, Modbus RTU, as well as industrial Ethernet versions such as Profinet, Profinet-IRT, IRT Fiber Optic, EtherNet / IP, ModbusTCP, EtherCAT and CC-Link IE Field.
For some Ethernet networks, the X-gateway supports dual-port Ethernet interfaces that enable daisy-chaining and eliminate the need for an external switch.

Compatible with all leading PLC manufacturers
X gateways have been tested and proven with all leading PLC manufacturers such as Siemens, Allen Bradley, Schneider Electric, Mitsubishi, ABB, Omron, Hitachi, Beckhoff, Pheonix Contact, Bosch Rexroth and many more.

Easy installation - no programming is required and no programming knowledge is required to configure X gateways. The X gateways have a predefined I / O size of 20 bytes I / O from the factory.

Fast transparent data transfer between the two networks is the primary focus of the X-gateway with the cyclical I / O data transfer between two networks. Depending on the network, combinations are possible and acyclic parameter data can also be transferred. (Eg SDO, V1, PCP or Explicit messaging) Use of parameter data enhances the functionality of the gateway and allows the transfer of time-critical data between the two networks. The X-gateway can also mix parameters and I / O data, enabling flexible coupling between the two networks.
